Welcome to First Capital University of Bangladesh. FCUB was founded in 2012 under the private University Act. 1992 with a vision to create a global higher education center for excellence. As a developing country, we need to develop education sector to face the challenge of globalization. We specially ensure modern and career related education that has great demand in present job market in both Bangladesh and abroad.

To ensure quality education FCUB is equipped with modern infrastructural facilities, latest academic curricula, Internet with Wi-Fi facility, well ventilated classrooms, and seminar halls supported with multi-media, rich libraries, most sophisticated laboratories, students' cafeterias, standby generators, etc.

Today, FCUB continues to grow, both in its facilities and in the dimensions of its educational and research programs. The goals of FCUB include the continued provision of the highest quality education at the undergraduate and graduate levels along with increased support for outstanding research to meet the needs of society and to fulfill FCUB’s role as a leading private university in Bangladesh.

Mission

The mission of the University is to create and disseminate knowledge, to provide top quality education to its students and to share academic and intellectual research among FCUB faculty members. The prime objective of First Capital University is to make students into highly skilled professionals in their respective fields. The professionals would ethically drive enterprises globally by creating value to stakeholders in the socio- economic contest through competencies drawn from integration of strategy and Management. This mission is accomplished not only through the classroom and research initiatives of faculty members but through a variety of departments and laboratories where faculty members are involved in cutting edge research.

Also we aim to graduate socially responsible future technologists and business leaders with good communications skills, problem solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to economic development. With a strong multidisciplinary knowledge base, graduates of FCUB will be well prepared to succeed in an increasingly competitive global economy. With a focus on multidisciplinary research and education and a learning model that emphasizes active learning, FCUB aspires to be globally known for innovation at the intersection of disciplines.
